“By now you may have read all or most of The Satanic Verses and may have identified religious, cultural, historical, mythological or psychological references which you would like to explore. You may also have ideas or comments which you would like to share with the group. Please feel free to communicate your queries and thoughts to group-members (including me) whose emails are given in the ‘TO’ and ‘CC’ lines above the Announcement email. This ‘dialogue’ could be a valuable precursor to our June 14 meeting.”
